What it is
A live control-room dashboard (terminals, sparklines, alerts, schematics) wrapped around an incremental loop with real decisions. It is built for both the five-minute check-in and the long session, and it is dry on the surface and genuinely unsettling underneath. If you liked Universal Paperclips and you have felt the moral weight of Frostpunk, this is aimed at you.
Every few minutes, launch a run. It returns three models with semi-random capability rolls. You keep one. Frequent, meaningful decisions instead of one big prestige.
Every few days the field moves on. Reset most progress, unlock a new era (Deep Learning → Transformers → Multimodal → Agentic → and beyond) with new mechanics.
A counter-resource that ticks up from the capability/alignment imbalance and from certain choices. It is hidden-ish. It is patient. It is keeping score.
Hire interns through Nobel laureates. Each tier automates a previously manual action. Offline progress runs while you are away.
Try it in your browser
A short interactive taste of the loop. The full game (paradigm shifts, the tech tree, four endings) is on Android.
Four endings
- Aligned ASI: the hardest path. Sustained alignment investment, kept honest. Humanity continues. You are remembered.
- Pyrrhic victory: you reach ASI, but the number is high. It works. Mostly.
- Misalignment: let P(doom) hit 100%. The interface is taken over element by element. Designed to be screenshotted.
- Shutdown: voluntarily halt while alignment is still high. Humanity continues. You are forgotten.
